
Salami

Salami is
yet another example of an Italian sausage tradition.
It can be made exclusively from pork, or be a mixture of pork and
beef, but they can also be made with venison or other game meats,
poultry, goose, lamb and goat. The
name comes from the Italian verb salare, meaning 'to salt'.
Salami is best served at room temperature and can be eaten as a
snack or as part of an antipasto platter, or chopped and used in
